New Year, New Me?

2018 was full of adventures, challenges and obstacles and I am very thankful that I surpass all those challenges and obstacles. After a year full of lessons here I go again ready to face new challenges, struggles, sacrifices and hard work. And I thank God that he helped and still helping me to achieve my goals, to learn my lessons and that he is guiding me unto the right path

This Year I decided not to make any new years resolution instead I decided to learn from the mistakes I committed in the past and apply the lessons I learned in the future. 2018 might not be the best year but I thank the Lord that I was ables to survive the past year. And now as 2019 enters I wish to have a blissful year♥

The Season of Giving!

x

Christmas is the season of giving and sharing. It is an annual celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. some popular traditions that people are traditionally doing are gift-giving, sending holiday cards to some of the relatives, Christmas tree decorating, singing some Christmas carols, and feast and church celebrations. Also Christmas is the most awaited season by some of the students, it’s because of the Christmas break in which almost a whole month of vacation is observe. No home works, no projects and of course NO CLASS!

One of the Christmas tradition that me and my mother is practicing is completing the  Misa De Galyo masses which is the 9 morning masses before Christmas. Every December that is both of me and my mother’s achievement we are not doing that because of the somehow belief that if you completed the 9 morning masses your wish would come true, we are doing that to remember that one man is coming to save us from all of our sins and that one man is no other that Jesus Christ.

Christmas is also a time where families gather, spend time together in ways of having vacation in other places whether it would be an out of the country or out of town kind of vacation. As for me, me and my family spend the Christmas in Cebu City. We went to Simala where lots of Mother Mary statues was placed and showed to people who comes to visit the place.

December is not just about the spirit of Christmas some couples chose the month of December for their hearts to collide. One of our family member was married last December 22, 2018 that was two days before Christmas. For me the event that I witnessed was really a magical event for both of them they both worked hard just to get the type of wedding that they wanted.

Christmas may pass by but that doesn’t mean that you’ll stop the sharing and the giving. Christmas is a new beginning for us to share and give what we have to those who are in need.

Love?

What is Love?

Whenever we are asked “what is love?” some would say that love is like river that flows forever or love is like a rosary that is full of mysteries, but for me love is about sacrificing and doing things you’ve never done before for the person you love the most. Love is not just about giving gifts or simply saying the three wonderful words the I, the LOVE and the YOU or simply I LOVE YOU. Love is also about how you show and how you make the person feel about your love for him or her. Love can be sometimes really difficult to handle but I believe that if you truly love a certain person you would be able to handle all the hardships that you and your partner is going through.

How do I show my Love?

Showing your love is simple just be sincere in everything you do for your love ones. Some may say that words are enough to show your affection on the person you love but I believe that both words and actions should be used together without the other you are not able to show your affection to the person you love. I mean would you possibly think that words are enough? or actions are enough? Saying that you love him or her isn’t enough you also need to put those words in actions. In short act and say what you feel about the person.

How to handle conflicts?

In a relationship having conflicts is just normal, because sometimes the fights that couples are having are the fights that are testing their faith in each other whether they both give up or they will choose to face the fight together. Conflicts in a relationship cannot be avoided because sometimes there are really some misunderstanding that is happening and as for me I handle those conflicts or misunderstanding by simply listening to the side of my partner. Some misunderstanding can be solve by just simply talking it over.  Simply have patience and listen to each other’s explanation, because the events that happened  in our lives all have explanation why that certain event happened. Conflicts and Misunderstandings are the same they all have explanations behind it. You and your partner just need to have faith in each other because if you both face the problems together with head held high I know that your relationship will be strong no matter what.
